Our company just as many others started off with an American dream, immigration, homesickness and childhood memories.
In the early 1990s a young and energetic man, an immigrant from Russia, settled in Manhattan and studied its customs and cuisine in his spare time. The more time passed, the more often he remembered Russian pelmeni, Latvian sprats, sweet condensed milk and other treats from home. The young man had a lot of ideas and plans, but little time. So he decided that pelmeni would be sold within walking distance of his house in Manhattan and opened his own store.
Since then the owner of the store has changed, but the idea remains the same:
If you want a treat from your homeland, you can get it wherever you are!
